The young under 16 premier team had their hands full again this Saturday against a big and athletic Milton Keynes team. The already undersized and young elite team were missing 3 of their best athletes, Ikenna, Isaac & Amen so were in an even tougher position. 

Sheffield started the game executing well on offence but struggled with MK’s athleticism in transition down 29-17 at the end of the 1st. 

After some much improved effort on the defensive end Sheffield held MK to 15 in the 2nd quarter but still narrowly lost 15-11 in Q2. 

It was in the second half where MK really pulled away switching to a 4 bigs 1 guard rotation that really hurt Sheffield both offensively and defensively with all 4 of MK’s players on court at least 3 inches bigger than Sheffield biggest player, Milton Keynes length in their trapping zone defence killed Sheffield & led to MK dominating the 2nd half winning 40-6.
