The young under 16 premier team had their hands full this Sunday against a big and athletic Birmingham team with 5 or 6, 6’5+ players on the Birmingham roster, the undersized and young elite’s were in for a battle. 

That's exactly what they did, the first quarter was back and forth ending 25-21 in Birmingham's favor. After some foul trouble for Elite’s forwards in the 1st the already undersized Sheffield had a tough time in a low scoring second quarter being held to 6 while Rockets scored 13 going into halftime down 38-27. 

Sheffield put up a good fight keeping the game close in the second half losing the 3rd by 3, 18-15 and winning the 4th by 2 21-19, however, after the struggles in the 2nd quarter, Elite could never quite close the gap with Birmingham coming out eventual winners 75-63.

Robbie Oliver led with 20 Points, Raphael Taylor had 13 and Ikenna Alisi had 11.
