After a close win at home last week against Stockport Falcons, Elite were looking to build on their momentum and win back to back games before finishing for the xmas break. The game started off fairly close but after Kaiden Bartholomew got out on the break for some transition and secondary break drives and Devon Lawson made the most of his post touches, Elite pushed the tempo. Consecutive stops and forced turnovers towards the end of Q1 resulted in Sheffield gaining a 27-17 lead. 

Swarm tightened up on defence in the second quarter drawing the 2nd 18-18 going into halftime with Elite up 10 despite being up 16 with 2 minutes to go. 

In the 2nd half elite showed some great ball movement and outside shooting with Elliot Kerley catching fire on his way to 30 points & Tom Morey creating for his teammates, finding them in the right places at the right time ending the game with 14 assists along with 11 points. Kaiden Bartholomew got back on track and ended with 15 Points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
